Features of the District

  • Central Island (A). The largest in the district. It will feature the largest shopping center in Dubai – Deira Mall. It will offer the largest retail space in the Emirate (50 football fields, 20% larger than Dubai Mall). The island is planned to have 37 hotels and resorts, two of which are already operational (RIU and Centara).

  • Golf Island (C). The project includes a premium golf club with an 18-hole course and views of the Persian Gulf. The island will feature a luxurious resort area, spa centers, and modern villas.
  • Shore Island (D). The sports island. It will have a 9-hole golf course, a yacht marina, and kilometer-long beaches. Unique features include tennis and football academies, horseback riding, water sports, archery, and more.
  • Elite Island (E). The smallest of the Dubai Islands, featuring a community of elite villas. In addition to plots for construction, the island will offer a private yacht marina and individual access from the city.

Dubai Islands is served by the SM1 bus route, which departs from the Gold Souk bus station in Deira and reaches the Souk Al Marfa Deira stop on Central Island.

You can get around the district by taxi. Access from other coastal areas of Dubai is also possible via water taxis or helicopters. Additionally, a developed pedestrian zone is planned to connect the archipelago with other parts of the Emirate.
